Description

The Arowana (Osteoglossum bicirrhosum) is a freshwater fish from South America, which can be a maximum of 90-120 cm long and up to 12 kg in weight. The Arowana lives in the Amazon and in the Rupununi and Oyapock rivers.

Way of Life/Habitat

The habitats of the Arowana are calm water areas like branches of the main rivers with dense underwater vegetation.
